Pana Dora Sweden was born from a belief that fragrance can carry far more than aroma. It can preserve memories, connect cultures, express identity, and transform an invisible composition into something deeply personal.

Founded in Sweden in 2019 by Syrian-Swedish perfumer Ibrahim Al-Zoubi, Pana Dora represents the culmination of more than three decades devoted to the art and science of perfumery. It is a house built not around passing trends, but around a lifetime of knowledge, exploration, and creative conviction.

Ibrahim Al-Zoubi’s journey began long before Pana Dora Sweden had a name.

After leaving Syria in 1988, he spent decades developing his expertise as a perfumer and working with major international companies. His profession took him across countries, cultures, mountains, valleys, and remote regions in search of exceptional aromatic materials and a deeper understanding of how fragrance is experienced around the world.

Every destination added something to his creative language: the richness and warmth of the East, the precision of European perfumery, and the clarity and restraint of Scandinavian design.

Beginning in the early 1990s, Ibrahim started shaping his own collection of fragrances. Over time, this personal project evolved into a greater vision: to establish an independent perfume house where his experience, heritage, and artistic freedom could come together without compromise.

That vision found its home in Emmaboda, Sweden.

Surrounded by forests, clean landscapes, and the quiet strength of Nordic nature, Ibrahim discovered an environment that reflected the qualities he wanted his perfumes to embody: clarity, balance, authenticity, and enduring beauty.

In 2019, Pana Dora Sweden was officially founded.

The house became a meeting point between worlds - uniting Eastern depth and generosity with Scandinavian precision and refinement. Rather than allowing these influences to compete, Pana Dora brings them together to create fragrances with a distinctive and recognisable character.

The name Pana Dora evokes the idea of a precious gift.

For us, fragrance is exactly that: a gift capable of awakening emotion, preserving a moment, and revealing something personal about the individual who wears it. A perfume is never simply an accessory. It becomes part of one’s presence, memories, and story.
